I had a look around but could not find anything I liked so I bought this little bear from Asda for £1!

I then bought some ribbon and mini flowers to match her lilac colour scheme.

I also arranged her hen night and had some veil material left over so I made the bear a mini veil too.

I am really please with how it came out and may make a few more for craft fayres etc

This is such a gorgeous and thouhtful gift - I'm sure it will mean more now you've altered it yourself.
The best things in life cannot be bought !(except from craft stores !)

PS if you added a little charm it would be perfect for the Creative cottage challenge this week which is "blooming charming!" x

What a briiliant idea, so cute and so personal for your friend. The teddy for £1 is perfect and a bargain.
I've never thought of altering a teddy (or other sort of sort toy) ...... hope you don't mind if I use the idea sometime .... Christmas soft toys cost a fortune .... but I'm thinking if I get some christmas ribbon and a spring of holly for near the teddy's ear....... !
Thank you for the inspiration!
I have added your blog to my sidebar (places I like to visit) and will also mention you on Blogathon on UKScrappers.
Love what you have done so far ..... can't believe your Hamma Bead picture.
